What I love about working with children in my @artstudiorichmond is seeing that there are no mistakes. It's all part of the larger process of making. So if a fly bug lands in your painting, 😃 laugh. (Said bug was rescued after photo 2 was taken).

It's morning in the Dotson meadow. I can see the summer yellow slowly creeping in. Since working with the children in my @artstudiorichmond workshops, I have come to really enjoy mixing each and every color one by one. The joy of YELLOW!

I always plan my hike to end here at around 5 pm. Why? GOLDEN HOUR! The most beautiful light in CA (plus I just love this little pond...tiny 🐸).
